Elementary Faith Formation
Faith Formation sessions for Grades 1-5 are on Wednesday nights, from 4:45-6 p.m. or 6:15-7:30 p.m. We use a classroom model with teachers giving the prepared lessons each week. Classes are formed by grade and meet weekly on the same nights as MS Crew.
Our first session of Elementary Faith Formation will be on Wednesday, Sept. 25.
Please note that our First Sacraments program for those seeking to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion is a separate program from Elementary Faith Formation on Wednesday nights. Most participants complete this program in 2nd Grade. Please indicate at the end of your Elementary Faith Formation registration if you would like First Reconciliation/First Communion information for specific children.

Middle School Crew
Middle School Crew (MS Crew) is designed for our 6th through 8th graders to find community while engaging in their Catholic faith. We do this by participating in small groups, hearing a weekly lesson, and connecting what we've learned with a weekly activity. MS Crew sessions are weekly from 6:15-7:30 p.m. on the same Wednesdays as Elementary Faith Formation.
Our first session of MS Crew will be on Wednesday, Sept. 25.

Confirmation & SH Crew
Confirmation
Confirmation is a Sacrament that strengthens us and obliges us to witness, spread, and defend the Catholic faith. Confirmation completes our full initiation as Catholic Christians and strengthens our ability to be missionary disciples through the reception of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Confirmation at HNOJ is a two-year process, with most beginning in 9th grade and receiving the sacrament in the spring of 10th grade. Confirmation meets twice a month on Sundays from 7-8:30 p.m.
This year, we will be calling Sundays that have programming for both Confirmation and Post-Confirmation students, "Formation Sundays." Please click here to access the 2024-2025 schedule.
Important Dates:
- Year 1 Parent Meeting - Sept. 29, from 4-5:15 p.m.
- Year 2 Parent Meeting Sept. 29, from 6:45-8 p.m.
Our first session of Formation Sundays will be on Oct. 13.

Post Confirmation Programming (SH Crew)
Now that you have received the sacrament of Confirmation, it’s time to put those Confirmation graces into action! 11th and 12th graders will enter into a small group based formation. The intention behind these small groups is to dive deep into discipleship and community. When you arrive on Sunday, you will go straight to your small group meeting locations!
