Coordinator of Senior High Youth Ministry
Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Wayzata is seeking a passionate and dedicated Coordinator of Senior High Youth Ministry to join our team. This full-time position is an exciting opportunity to empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ, while guiding their catechetical education and spiritual growth. The coordinator will be responsible for creating dynamic teaching experiences, fostering moments of evangelization, and equipping adult leaders to help teens grow closer to Christ. Additionally, this role will oversee the planning and execution of annual retreats, a summer service experience, and the confirmation program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate programs that engage high school students in their faith journey.
- Offer inspired teaching and facilitate evangelical moments that encourage spiritual growth.
- Provide support and training for adult leaders in youth ministry.
- Plan and execute annual retreats, summer service experiences, and oversee the confirmation program.
- Foster an environment of discipleship, forming lasting relationships with teens and adult volunteers.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Theology, Catholic Studies, or a related field.
- Be proficient in technology and willing to learn and adapt to new computer systems and programs.
- Be a practicing Catholic with a deep knowledge and love for the Catholic faith and traditions.
- Possess strong project management, organizational, and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to connect, collaborate, and build effective relationships with a diverse group of individuals.

The salary range for this position is $48,000-$53,000. This position offers medical and dental insurance, 403b retirement, paid time off, and other elective benefits as chosen by employee.

Holy Name of Jesus is now hiring for:
- Temporary Full-Time Position: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. This could be a 1-2 month assignment.
- Part-Time Position: 16 hours per week, Saturdays and Sundays, 6 a.m.-2 p.m.
These positions offer a variety of responsibilities, including regular cleaning, routine maintenance tasks and assisting with event set up and take down as needed for various parish activities.
