Stewardship Testimony

At Holy Name of Jesus, we learn to follow Jesus and inspire each other to live as disciples of Christ. Stewardship is a faith response to God’s love as we recognize all we have been given and seek to share it with others. Your ongoing support through prayer, participation and generosity serves as a reminder that we are all a part of our parish mission to Know the heart of Christ, See the face of Christ and Be the hands of Christ. 

We strive to put God first in all things and to follow where our Lord leads. We respond to His call by receiving God’s gifts gratefully, cultivating them responsibly, sharing them lovingly in justice with others and returning them with increase to the Lord. 

God blessed you with talents, skills and strengths. Your stewardship through prayer, participation and generosity has an impact on our community. You can engage by:

To be a good steward means to care for something well. To be a Christian steward is to gratefully receive our unique God-given gifts, to cultivate them responsibly and to return them with an increase to serve God and neighbor.

· 326 households committed to pray regularly for Holy Name of Jesus

Participation

· Parishioners volunteered their time and talent for 803 activities within HNOJ ministries

Generosity

· Total pledged amount was $1,632,668 vs. last year $1,392,449 (17% increase)

· 23% of parish households pledged; which was 554 pledges received

· 50% of families who pledged increased their pledge over the last year

· 177 parish families responded with new pledges for 2023
