Women's Retreat

Women's Retreat, May 3, 2025

Wr2025 Early Bird Udpated ScreensRegistration is now open for this year's Women's Retreat! All women are invited to spend a day in community with other women and in the presence of our Lord in the Sacraments.

If you missed it last year (or just need a reminder), here were some comments from the women who attended:

• The guided meditation was very transforming...my experience at the retreat was very enlightening and moving.

• I had a hard time driving home because I had been transported into a better world.

• [The speakers and small group discussions] certainly left me with "food for thought" and a yearning to grow more in my faith.

• There was a special grace coming from all the women in there.

This year's retreat is titled It is Well and will be hosted at HNOJ on Saturday, May 3. We will begin with an optional Mass at 8 a.m., followed by speakers, meditation, Adoration, Reconciliation and plenty of time for small group discussion. A light breakfast and lunch are both included, and the day will conclude at 3:30 p.m. We are so fortunate to have Kenna Millea and Fr. Tim Wratkowski as speakers this year.

Kenna Millea is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and co-founder of the Martin Center for Integration, an organization supporting the integration of mental health and faith. She received bachelor and masters degrees from the University of Notre Dame, and an additional masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary's University of Minnesota. Kenna is co-host of a podcast called This Whole Life with her husband Pat Millea. Kenna and Pat have been married for 15 years and they live in Cottage Grove with their seven children.

Fr. Wratkowski is the Pastor of HNOJ. He was ordained in 2017 after formation at Saint John Vianney College Seminary and the Pontifical North American College in Rome.
