Frequently Asked Questions:

Using a bank account or credit card, you are able to give to any collection, schedule Sunday giving and view payment history made through the WeShare portal. Donating is simple, quick, safe and secure:

  1. Click on this Online Giving link.
  2. Select a collection image on the Home tab, or click Give Now tab to select a collection from the drop-down box. (Or if you have given before, click the Sign-In tab.)
  3. Enter the amount you wish to give and your payment information. 

That’s it.

Note that there is a One-time tab and a Recurring tab within some collections. Choose accordingly. For recurring gifts, you can return at any time to edit your scheduled donation or to view your giving history through WeShare.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: I can’t login to WeShare.

A: Your email address is your login. If that is not working, it may be under an old email address or a spouses email address.  If you need help, please contact the parish office.

Q: I forgot my password/ my temporary password expired:

A: Enter your email address and click next, then click the “Forgot password?" link and follow the instructions.

Q: Must I create an account?

A: Creating a login is optional; however, creating a login allows you to receive email receipts and reminders, save your payment methods, and view/print a payment history.

Q: How do I create an account?

A: When you provide an email in the contact section, an account will automatically be created and you will receive an email with your temporary password. Please login and change your password before it expires in 24 hours. 

Q: Which payment methods are accepted?

A: Contributions from checking accounts, savings accounts, debit cards, and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express) are all accepted.

Q: Do parishioners receive receipts for their donations?

A: Yes, by default all contributors enrolled for online giving will receive receipts via e-mail. You may also opt-out of receiving emails for recurring giving. 

Q: Why don't all of my payments show up in "Giving History"

A:  Only payments made through the WeShare portal will display in Giving History.  Cash or checks placed in the offering basket, mailed to HNOJ, or otherwise not made through WeShare do not show up in Giving History.

Q: Are all payments shown in the "Giving History" tax-deductible?

A: Not all payments made are tax-deductible.  HNOJ will still send a giving statement at the end of the year for your tax records.

Q: Is WeShare safe?

A: Yes. WeShare implements the safest security standards for online transactions and your privacy is protected at all times. We are certified by the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards (DSS) as a Level 1 Service Provider.
