Called to Communion 2024

Stewardship Invitation

At Holy Name of Jesus, you are called to communion. We learn to follow Jesus and inspire each other to live as disciples of Christ. Your life is not about you, but about God’s purposes for you.

Stewardship is a faith response to God’s love and His purpose for you. God blessed you with talents, skills and strengths. As you recognize all you have been given, seek to share it with others through these efforts:

PRAYER - attend Mass, pray regularly and gather as children of God who follow Him.

PARTICIPATION - believe in God, in Jesus and in the Holy Spirit and live out our faith by actively participating in the mission and ministry of the Church.

GENEROSITY - be faithful disciples by generously committing your gifts to support the mission, ministries and services of our faith community.

Our stewardship invitation weekend is Oct. 12-13, 2024. You are invited to make a stewardship commitment for the 2025 calendar year.

Stewardship Spotlight: Know the Heart of Christ

“As the deer longs for streams of water, so my soul longs for you, O God.”
Psalm 42:1

As human beings, we have a deep longing for God. During this past Lent, 340 parishioners joined small groups to learn how to slow down, eliminate hurry and remove distractions, all with the aim of drawing closer to the heart of Christ. After all, God calls each of us by name and desires an intimate relationship with us. As Saint Augustine beautifully expressed, "You have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our heart is restless until it rests in You."

Through the Word of God and the Sacraments, we encounter the heart of Jesus Christ. At Holy Name of Jesus, joining a small group offers a meaningful path to embrace the call to stewardship and grow closer to Christ.

You can join a small group today!
