Fr. Wratkowski (Rat-Cow-Ski) comes to us from the Church of Saint Joseph in West Saint Paul, MN. Originally from Saint Anthony, MN, Fr. Wratkowski went to St. Charles Borromeo parish and school and then Totino-Grace High School. He was ordained in 2017 after formation at Saint John Vianney College Seminary and then the Pontifical North American College in Rome.

 

 

 

Fr. Chris Yanta

Fr. Chris Yanta grew up at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Maple Lake, MN. He is the third of seven children. He spent three years studying engineering at NDSU before entering seminary at St. John Vianney College Seminary in St. Paul and then four years at St. Paul Seminary. Among other things, he likes to fish and play frisbee golf. Fr. Chris was ordained in May 2024 and we are excited to welcome him to Holy Name of Jesus.

 

 

 

 

Rev. Mr. Dennis Hanson

Deacon Dennis Hanson has been a member of Holy Name of Jesus since the late 1990s and served as a deacon at HNOJ since 2000. Dennis became a full-time deacon in 2012 when he retired from the business world. His ministries include Deaconate Liturgical Ministry, Baptism Program, Marriage Ministry, and Outreach Ministry. He started the Men’s Bible Study at HNOJ and the Career Transition Group. Deacon Dennis is also a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Serra Club and the Men's Club.

Chris Kostelc

Chris Kostelc grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. He graduated from St. John’s University with a degree in Theology and a focus in Pastoral Ministry. In 2009, Chris completed a master’s degree in Pastoral Ministry at the SJU School of Theology. Chris also served in youth ministry at HNOJ for over a decade before his current role in adult faith formation.

 

 

 

 

Jennifer Wendt

Jennifer lives in Shakopee, MN with her husband Zach, goldendoodle Coco, 21-year-old son Thomas and high school senior Edward. Her sons Nicholas and Oscar are attending graduate schools out of state, and her daughter Elizabeth lives and works in Maple Grove with her husband Spencer. Jennifer has degrees in psychology and religion from Augsburg University in Minneapolis and a BA in English writing from Winona State. Her family are members of Sts. Joachim and Anne in Shakopee where Jennifer has been involved as a sacristan, a parish council member, a catechist in faith formation and through ministry with homebound parishioners. 

 

Eve Anders
Coordinator of Senior High Youth Ministry

Eve Anders excitedly joins us at HNOJ as the Senior High Youth Minister after two years of missionary work with NET ministries. She graduated from Ave Maria University in 2018 where she majored in Catholic Studies and minored in Economics. Following college, she worked at a crisis pregnancy center/woman’s health care facility in New Orleans, LA. This Louisiana native loves the south but is excited to acclimate to Minnesota! 

 

 

Luke Klavins

Luke Klavins grew up in New Hope, MN and attended St. Raphael’s Catholic School and Church in his younger years. As a teen, he attended Extreme Faith Camp, Friday Night Alive (FNA) and other youth group events; where his faith was first kindled. Following high school, Luke served as a traveling missionary with NET ministries. Luke has worked many blue-collar jobs, alongside working at a coffee shop and volunteering with youth as well. In 2022 he served a second year with NET ministries and upon his return worked as a residential remodeler and framer for over a year. Now the Lord has called him here. Luke is excited to go from building houses to walking with youth on this journey towards heaven here at HNOJ.

 

Tim Lyngdal

Tim grew up in the Twin Cities area and earned his degrees in Philosophy and Catholic Studies through the University of St. Thomas while in formation at St. John Vianney College Seminary and graduated in 2020. While discerning God’s will for his life at St. Paul Seminary School of Divinity, he made the decision in peace to leave seminary formation in May 2021 to pursue the lay/married life. This is his second position in church ministry and comes from an experience where he coordinated young adult ministry and mission training at a parish in Colorado. 

He is excited to work for Holy Name of Jesus and serve the people of this parish! In his free time he loves to play sports/exercise, read, adventure the Twin Cities with friends and spend time with family. 

 

Claudia Rabaey

Claudia grew up in Minneota, MN on a family farm. She graduated from the University of Mary in 2021 with a degree in Social Work. After college, Claudia served two years of mission in Benque Viejo, Belize with SOLT teaching at the local Catholic high school. Upon returning to the States, Claudia worked as a case manager helping to coordinate services for people with disabilities. Claudia is excited to be a part of the HNOJ community!

 

 

 

 

Linda Corrigan

Originally from Chicago, Linda has lived all over the country settling in Minnesota in 1996. She and her husband, Bill, have three grown children and three grandchildren.

Although a born and raised Catholic, she has continued to learn more about her faith, attending the Augustine Institute to obtain her Master’s in Theology. (And she still thinks there is much more for her to know.)

Linda walks with those who are grieving the loss of a loved one and assists with funeral planning.

Kraig Windschitl

Kraig Windschitl is a native of New Ulm, MN, where his love of sacred music was instilled at an early age. Kraig was Baptized and Confirmed at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, where his mother was director of music/liturgy. Post high school graduation from the Perpich Center for Arts, Kraig attended Saint John's University, where he double majored in systematic theology and liturgical music. While at St John's, Kraig studied organ with Kim Kasling, Sr. Dolores Super and choral conducting with Axel Theimer and Richard Proulx. Post completion of the Master of Sacred Music at Indiana University, Kraig served various congregations in the Twin Cities, including Mount Olivet and Saint Philip the Deacon. In his free time, Kraig enjoys golf, swimming, time with his extended family and certainly the Minnesota Orchestra! Kraig keeps the Benedictine Rule close in hand and heart, being a Benedictine Oblate of St John's Abbey.

Laurie Lucking

Laurie Lucking grew up near Madison, Wisconsin, where she joined her church's music program as soon as she was old enough to sing in the children's choir. She first came to Minnesota to earn her bachelor's degree in English and Economics at St. Olaf College, then her J.D. at the University of Minnesota Law School. In her eight years as a parishioner at Holy Name of Jesus, Laurie has been involved as a choir member, cantor, MOPS / MomCo leader and nursery assistant. Now as the Music Ministry Admin, she looks forward to getting to know more HNOJ staff and parishioners while supporting our beautiful liturgies through music! In addition to singing, Laurie enjoys reading, writing and adventuring with her husband and four kids.

 

Janna Webskowski

Janna Webskowski joined HNOJ as the parish business administrator in July, 2023. Janna and her husband, Joshua, have been active members at St. Michael Catholic Church in Saint Michael for over 20 years, engaging in various ministries, including serving as Eucharistic Ministers of Holy Communion. Their two children attended St. Michael Catholic School. Janna's professional career spans more than 20 years in international banking, technology, sales and marketing. With an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, she is fluent in four languages and enjoys travel, gardening and baking. She is excited to be here and to serve our wonderful community.

Cheri Quast has been an Executive Administrative Assistant for over 13 years in the corporate sector. A lifelong native of Minnesota, Cheri lives in the Excelsior area and is an active member at St. Hubert Catholic Church in Chanhassen where she volunteers in a variety of ways. She enjoys using her God given talents of organization to support others and she is looking forward to using those talents here at HNOJ!

 

 

 Michelle Hudlow

Michelle Hudlow has worked at HNOJ since July of 2013. Michelle has a degree in Administrative Management and Network Management/Analysis. She worked for 20 years at a local printing company; starting in accounting and leaving as a systems administrator. Before coming to Holy Name of Jesus she worked for six years as a part-time adjunct instructor teaching computer networking and office programs. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, her dogs and glamping.

Gabby Lehner was born and raised in Champlin, MN, and grew up at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church where she is still a parishioner. Gabby earned a degree in Human Services from Saint Mary’s University of MN, Winona. Gabby recently married her best friend, Ben. Together, they enjoy spending time outside with their dog, Vinny and spending time with family! Gabby loves meeting new people, so please stop by to say hi!

Sarah Reid is excited to take on the role of communications coordinator at HNOJ! She is originally from South Dakota where she earned a degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Northern State University. She and her family moved to Plymouth in 2016. Outside of work she enjoys hiking, cooking, drinking coffee and most importantly, spending time with her husband and their nine-year-old daughter.

 

 

 

Jeff Ruchti 
Facilities and Maintenance Manager

 

Jeff is excited to join HNOJ as the new Facilities and Maintenance Manager. Jeff has lived in the Hamel area for more than 25 years with his wife Susan; they have three adult children and their dog (Chief). Jeff enjoys family time, classic muscle cars and riding with his Red Knight motorcycle club.

Jeff worked in the printing industry for more than 30 years managing a service team that spans five states, servicing more than 1500 printers. He joined the Wayzata Public Schools in 2020 as a night lead custodian then moved into the district administrator side to supervise the custodial team of 50+ to support 13 schools and four district buildings.

Jeff also served his community as a paid on-call firefighter/Fire Chief for more than four decades.

Jeff has been a lifelong member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and Academy where he is currently serving on the Board of Elder, regularly attending church also actively involved in the usher/safety and security groups.

 

Bill Kessler

Bill Kessler is our Building and Grounds Manager, overseeing building and grounds as well as maintenance at Holy Name of Jesus. He was in this role at HNOJ from 1994-2001 and returned to this role in April 2013.
 

 

 

 

 

John Blake
Maintenance Assistant

John is excited to join the HNOJ team as the newest Custodian/Maintenance person. He resides in Plymouth with his wife Linda and they have been parishioners of HNOJ since 1991. Together they have daughter Lauren, daughter Jeni and son-in-law Brandon and baby angel granddaughter Gabriella. 

John’s hobbies include boating, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and spending time with his family along with granddogs Miley and Rylie. 

John previously worked in the Graphic Art trade for 28 years doing image assembly and production management. In 2019, he was employed by Wayzata Schools as a custodian. 

John also served the communities of Minnetonka, Chaska and Plymouth as a part-time firefighter/EMT and Assistant Fire Chief over the span of 40 years.

Bob Weinzierl is a long-time member, as he grew up just a few blocks down the road and his children attended HNOJ School. Bob is also a realtor, specializing in this area. Bob is a very experienced winemaker, taking a few gold ribbons at the state fair, and an old-school outdoorsman, when time permits.

Jennifer Gilliland works as nursery coordinator at HNOJ, where she has been on our nursery staff since 2007. She works with volunteers who assist in the nursery during Sunday morning Masses, as well as during Adult Faith Formation events and many other occasions at our parish.

Jan Stumpf is our parish secretary during Sunday liturgies. Jan began working at Holy Name in the nursery in 1997 and since then has also worked with Sunday School and the School Age Program. She was married at Holy Name of Jesus and has two adult children and a granddaughter.

Martha Laurent

Martha Laurent is the principal of Holy Name of Jesus School. Martha has enjoyed an active and diverse career in Catholic education, working at St. Hubert School in Chanhassen for 13 years--first as a teacher, then as a dean and finally as principal. She additionally served as principal at St. Pascal Baylon in St. Paul. She holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Minnesota, plus a master’s degree in educational leadership and an educational specialist degree from St. Thomas University. She feels blessed to be a part of the HNOJ School family.

Carla Durand serves as office manager for Holy Name of Jesus School, where she has worked for 13 years. Her responsibilities include handling all incoming phone calls and emails regarding our school. She works directly with HNOJ School’s principal and assists the teachers and parents with any questions. She enjoys greeting the kids every morning and making sure that they have a safe and happy day.
